Happy March, everyone. Did you know that this month is Women's History Month? That got me thinking a lot about where we are at as a country currently and things that have come up over the last month in the world at large, but also personally. I found a reoccurring theme - courage. I am not one who's made broad strokes in the greater world with courageous acts, but in my own life I've had to dig into places within myself for great amounts of courage. From the days where I simply didn't feel like I could face getting out of bed but knew I had to for my kids - to as a child routinely facing fear just to get through my daily routine - it took a resolve within myself to face whatever fears I was having and just do what I needed to do anyway. It took courage to say, I'm going to face this and get through it, and I did.
Whether big or small, we all have to make courageous choices/acts throughout our lives, sometimes daily. I wanted to create a collection this month that focused on that resolve - both the celebration of it, and the push needed to get through those difficult moments when facing the fears that bring you to the place of courage.
