One of the things I tried to accomplishe when designing this collection, was versatility. I wanted all the colors to go together, but also allow for separation for specific theming in projects. For here I simply pulled out the green, woodgrain, grey, brown and cream from the colors to really emphasize my apple theme. Because my kids were wearing all sorts of colors that day, I decided to make all of the images with them in black and white and just the apple tree in color, this helps to draw on the colors in the collection while still allowing the story to be told with out all of the distraction of the kids' vibrant clothes.
I'm really loving how the embellishments add to my story while still being generic enough to not be to "themed'.
That's going to wrap it up for me today. I'll be back tomorrow with another project using Urban Autumn, so make sure and come back for that! Thanks so much for stopping by - I hope you have a super day!
