For my project, I wanted to share how Farm Girl is a versatile collection, so much so that you can even create a holiday-themed layout from it! Who knew?!
Filled with beautiful greens, reds and turquoises commonly used in holiday projects, I pulled out the greens and reds in Farm Girl to play up a photo from this past weekend's trip to the Christmas Tree farm. I also love that the woodgrain Mini Market stickers really play into the outdoor feel of the photo as well. Here I used my Silhouette to cut a tone on tone Christmas tree to further give the feel of the holidays, then simply taking a little ink and brushing it along the ege of my tree to give it just a smidge of contrast.Lastly, I created a couple clusters with stickers, journaling cards and tidbits to create little vingnettes of interest on the page.Finishing everything off with some red stitching and threaded buttons and this page is good to go and ready for the holidays!
All you have to do is leave a comment with your email address, and what you think you would use the Farm GIrl collection to scrap for your chance to win! The drawing will be open until Monday, December 10th, Midnight EST. My winner will be announced on my blog on Wednesday the 12th.
Now that you've been to my blog you are off to the exceptionally talented Michelle Wooderson's blog here!
