It's a page I created about my son and his never ending energy and love of the outdoors. I placed my journaling inside the little envelopes to the left on the page (photo below). This is one of those pages that was created, then torn just about completely apart then recreated, and I'm so glad I did, as I really love the colors that came out of the round 2 version you see here. Slightly unexpected, but still fallish.
I used these new droppers in the shop thinking it would help me to perfect my sometimes frustrating pursuit in creating the perfect ink drops on my pages. I do love the uniform look from the droppers, and they really do help with the larger drips.
Who would have thought that 5th and Frolic would work so well with more traditional fall colors, not me! But by choosing just the right tones, they really do create something lovely, and fall looking without the dense feel of traditional colors.
Here I simply trimmed everyday mailing tags to fit into each of my vellum envelopes, and they tuck so nicely away, providing lots of writing space without being overly exposed on the page.
That's going to wrap things up for me today here on the lil blog! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
