Hi everyone! Today the October Afternoon Design Team is excited to bring you lots of inspiration using the new collection Witch Hazel with a fun blog hop featuring products, projects, prizes and loads of fun! You may have just arrived from Vivian's awesome blog and if not, make sure to head over to the October Afternoon blog to start things off.
Today for my project, I decided to scrap my favorite photos from last year's trick-or-treating with my kids. For CHA, I used a very oversized version of the photo here of my daughter for one of my Witch Hazel projects, but for today, I wanted to create a page for myself with both my kiddos in their costumes. Instead, I decided to take this very silly photo of them and make it the center piece then bookend it on each side with their more posed images from the evening.
I framed everything with lots of layers of Witch Hazel papers, and the addition of a fringe border of burlap. I love adding burlap to my projects this time of the year. And talk about going perfectly with papers, I'm in love with how it looks with Witch Hazel!
I also thought I'd share a project that I created for CHA this past summer using Witch Hazel that I haven't shared on my blog yet. It's using the the Witch Hazel Here and Now Mini Album and Chapter Inserts.
I decided to call it my Costume Catalog book, documenting all of the costumes that my kids have worn throughout the years. I can't wait to re-create this book for myself, because I love the concept and Witch Hazel is most definitely the perfect collection to create such a fun memory book. Here's the book as it was created for CHA........
Now, I have something special to share. I am giving away one package of Witch Hazel Miscellany to one lucky commentor. All you have to do is leave a comment here on this blog post by Monday, October 8th for your chance to win! Super easy!
