Hey everyone! This week I hosted Monday's challenge up on the OA blog. I decided to create a page with photos that weren't clear, infact they are dark, blurry and completely indistinguishable! But, it's what is behind those photos, that is still important to my memory keeping. They will probably cause the on-looker to do a double-take and say, "what on earth is that?" These photos were from a "Glow Party" that we threw for our kids last week for having a great week at school. We got a whole bunch of glow sticks from the $1 bins at Target and *tried* to make glow in the dark jello (didn't work for us), black lights in the lamps and all. But, because I'm not seasoned enough of a photograher, and know nothing about taking low-light photos, this is what I was able to capture. Very cool, but totally nothing that would be considered fantastic subjects. But I still wanted to scrap them. After looking through my latest products, I knew Witch Hazel would be an ideal match for these photos. With it's dark feel and the pops of glowing green and deep blue, they are the perfect match for these glowing images that are seeping with mystery and intrigue, just like Halloween! I'm actually really tickled at how fun the page came out, considering the vague nature of the photos. Have you ever scrapped something like this? If not, give it a go, and upload it to the OA Flickr gallery. I'd love to see your photos and how you interpreted the challenge!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!
