TGIF, everyone! I'm soooo happy it's Friday, while at the same time daunted by my ever increasing list of to-do's. Tonight we are set to have a Glow in the Dark "party" in our newly finished basement, with dozens of glow bracelets, necklaces I bought in the Target $1 bin this week. I even promised the kids glow-in-the-dark jello, I found here, so I have that to do on top of a zillion other things today! Then, this weekend we HAVE to stain our new deck, and I'm kind of dreading it, because, honestly, I have other stuff I HAVE to do. There are so few hours in the day it seems any more. :P
Anywhoo! Today I thought I'd share my layout from this past week in the Two Peas Garden. It's centered around my daughter's and my trip to pick nectarines at the orchard this summer. We've been apple picking, peach picking, but never nectarine picking and since it's one of my absolute favorite fruits, we just had to go!
I found lots of different shades of pinky-peach and peachy-reds in my stash of products and put them together to give a real rich feeling of this fresh and fruit-filled color way.
To balance these colors and the creams to make them stand out more, I used these beautiful grey and Kraft toned neutrals, providing some contrast and organic quality to the palette.
That's going to wrap things up for me. But I'm *fairly* certain, I have a weekly challenge posting at Two Peas tomorrow, so be on the lookout for that, too. You'll find that, here on the Two Peas in the Bucket blog sometime early tomorrow.
