First, before I get started, I just want to say 'thank you' to those who left such kind words on my post from yesterday. I find it difficult to share a lot of personal stuff, I'm just pretty private and introverted that way. But you guys made me feel so good on a day when I was very reflective, a bit weepy and quite conflicted about my new situation. So, I just want to let you know, how much I appreciated your words. It meant a lot. :)
Melissa Mann created a sketch for our challenge that was very detailed and very layout-friendly. Because of this, I decided to take a try at creating s couple cards from it since it was so detailed. I wasn't sure how they would turn out, but in the end, I really love the results of them both.
Grid formats are really so versatile, that translating any grid-type sketch into a card is just as simple as using one for layouts. Just scale down those grids and you are good to go! To check out Melissa's layout, and even take a stab at creating something yourself with her sketch, check out that post here. And remember, if you participate, you can be one of our lucky winners each month to receive a pack of Lily Bee Design products! Fun stuff!
Next up, I wanted to share the Giveaway winner from our Gardeners' Digest blog hop from last week.
The winner of Jen Gallacher's latest workshop, Words Unsaid, is......
