Hi everyone! I hope you've been enjoying your summer! It's been super busy here trying to keep the kids somewhat occupied, preparing for my son's 6th birthday tomorrow, prepping for CHA, having construction going on in our house, to name a few things that are going on in my neck of the woods. I'm a wee bit tired.... ;)
But I'm still plugging and I thought since tomorrow is my little man's 6th birthday, I thought I'd share a page I created in celebration of his very first birthday. We *try* to wake our kids (we've missed a couple) on their birthdays with a bouquet of balloons in their room, so they wake up on their special day, feeling just as special as we think they are. This was my son's first bouquet, and the look on his face was pure delight - even though at the time he had no clue what all the fuss was about. :)
This week's projects for October Afternoon were all featuring our Miscellany packs and I'm particularly smitten with the Miscellany pack from Cakewalk, so I was excited to use lots of these bits for both my layout and my card that were on the OA blog this week. :)
Today on the blog, Vivian created a super cute sketch that I created a card for. I just love the little pin-th-tail-on-the-donkey die cut from the Miscellany pack. He's just perfect for this little birthday card I created.
There isn't much I don't connect with in this collection. I see this as being one that's going to go down as one that will be use for both my kids' younger birthdays. I really love it that much. It's just delightful!
That's going to wrap things up for me today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
