Hello, hello, everyone and welcome to the October Afternoon, 9 to 5 Blog Hop! If you've landed here prior to getting all the details from the October Afternoon blog, head on over there first to get all the deets! Today, several of the OA Design Team members have teamed up to bring you some fun inspiration using the latest line from October Afternoon, 9 to 5! There are several giveaways along the way as well as the GRAND PRIZE of a full collection kit of 9 to 5 on the OA blog, so make sure to stop at each and every stop on the hop to find out the info!
I thought I'd whip up a quick card, using 9 to 5 and focus on all the gorgeous blues and greens in the collection. I am completely and utterly smitten with the colors in this collection! They are so on trend and so versatile, I really can't wait to use every last scrap of it in my upcoming scrapbook pages and cards. Originally when I made the card, it was going to just have the phone tin pin, for a "Call Me" sentiment. But I simply couldn't resist adding the bold red ampersand above the phone - it's beautifully graphic and I think adds a fun twist to the sentiment, like saying, I've written you this great note, oh, and remember to call me! He, he! This is probably something that my Mom would like to say to me! :D Now that I think of it, this would a really fun card to give to a recent grad going off to college! LOL!
Now for the giveaway here on my blog! October Afternoon is giving away one set of 9 to 5 Tin Pins to one lucky commenter on my blog! All you have to do to win is leave a comment here on my blog telling me what types of projects you plan to create with 9 to 5! Simple!
Winners will be announced on April 25, 2012 on the October Afternoon blog.
So now it's time to head on through the rest of the Blog Hop! I hope you enjoy! Next stop on the hop is the lovely and super talented, Wilna! I can't wait to see what she has in store for us using 9 to 5!
And if you get lost, here's the hop order for you. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic day! :)
