Two Peas Garden Girl Blog Hop :: The Gardeners' Digest

Hi everyone! Today is the first installment of a new monthly feature from the Garden Girls at Two Peas in a Bucket! It's called the Gardeners' Digest. The Gardeners' Digest is a monthly update (blog hop) that will include sneak peaks of upcoming projects, recent inspiration found at Two Peas, and our favorite products found in the shop! It's sure to be a super fun and exciting addition to all the fabulous stuff that you find on the Two Peas site each and every day! So let's get started!UrMyHeart_LO_AHBecause I haven't shared it here on my blog yet, I thought I'd share my VERY FIRST project for Two Peas from earlier this month. I am IN LOVE with Crate Paper's Paper Heart collection. But because I didn't have anything really 'Valentine's Day' themed to use when creating with it, I really wanted to play up a moment where my daughter wasn't feeling really great, and let her know that even in those moments of unhappiness, that she ALWAYS fills my heart with love. Paper Heart was the perfect choice to tell her that story.

ComingSoonDon'tBeFooled_Detail4_AHSecondly, I thought I would share a sneak peak of a project you may see in the gallery here soon. Again, I used some Paper Heart, but I've mixed it up with some unexpected pieces to create a fun take on a *boy* page. ;)

InspiredByOne of the things I struggle with most as a scrapbooker, is journaling. It's not that I don't have anything to say, it's more that I always leave that portion of my record keeping to the very last, then I don't have anywhere to put it. I need to make more of an effort to integrate that important piece of my documenting into my work.Projects-03787072-d16b-4772-a856-d3b73de236f7-35ed911f95b048e696eb83e6691787e5This month, I've been SO inspired by Garden Girl, Jill Sprott's (aka Fevvers) brilliant way of always making her journaling an integral piece of her overall design. It's fabulous how she puts so much effort into her journaling and it works seemlessly into her artwork. You must check out all of her detail shots in this layout. It's FABULOUS! She's definitely an inspiration to ME!

Last up,I thought I'd share some product that are in the shop right now, and I'm going to be honest, they are sitting in my shopping cart RIGHT NOW, waiting for the trigger to be pulled so they can come home to me! In actuality, there are a LOT more than 5 in my shopping cart, that's why the trigger hasn't been pulled yet, but I'll save you that list and only share 5 with you today! LOL! Here you go - all linked up so you can take a gander for yourself in the shop! Yum! I might have to pull the trigger today! :)

What do you think, pretty fun stuff, eh? Those Jenni Bowlin punches are calling my name, so are those letterpress labels! Delicious!! If you are shopping don't forget the monthly free shipping code!  It also gives $5 off international orders over $50 of non-phaseout product.  The code is: NY2012
