Happy December!! Today marks the first day of MANY of our December Daily documenting! So, I thought I would share the last of my introduction spreads that I shared in full over at the October Afternoon blog earlier this week.
This one is all about our family's favorite holiday music. I don't know about you, but holiday music plays a huge role in our home with setting the holiday mood and festivesness. And, I know my tastes have definitely changed and evolved in my holiday music over the years, so I thought it would be a fun tradition to document all of our favorite holiday songs each year, so we can see how we've changed, or rather how music will have changed over the years.
I was asked recently how I got this print out of my iTunes selection. Well it's pretty simple. All I did was take a "screen shot" (most computers have a pretty simple way of doing this where it saves the image right to your desktop, just do a search on your computer for screen shot.) Then I took the screen shot into Photoshop where I cropped it down. Then I turned it into a black and white image, and printed it out at 300DPI, and sized to my preferred size, then printed out on photo paper just like a regular photo. It was really very simple!
I also wanted to post this today as well, because I have gotten a chance to use this nifty new tool from InLinkz.com (see below) that links up all the products I used in my project directly to where you can purchase the items. It's going to take some time to get going on this, but once I do, this is going to be an immensly useful tool for me to show you exactly what I've used on my projects right here from my blog! Pretty cool, huh? I hope to be up and running on this within the next month. :)
Well, I'm off, to find something cool to document for my first December Daily entry! I hope you have a wonderful day, and thank you so much for stopping by! :D
