I'm back again today, with the introduction layout for my December Daily. You'll be seeing a lot of red, silver, kraft and white from me and my projects this month, hope you don't mind! ;)
I'm just loving keeping my palette simple like this. In the end, it will create a really unified book, even though I am using a myriad of manufacturers product. Here today, it's all about American Crafts and Hollyday once again.
It really is the perfect collection for those bright snowy whites and glittery elements that I wanted to bring into my album for that whimsy factor you know I love so well!
For this spread I really took my stitching to the max, stitching down chipboard, free form on felt, creating a garland, my favorite zig zag stitching, as well as simple straight stitching all on one spread. For me the stitching is really what makes the "nordic" holiday theme so brilliant for me.
Tomorrow is the start of the documenting portion of the album process, so wish me luck! I have my "base pages" in my album, but I haven't yet put anything on them, as I mentioned I'm kind of winging it when it comes to creating this book, so outside of gathering my selected product, I'm don't have a "plan" for each day's page, other than a vague idea of what I will do. So we shall see! I'll keep you posted, and try to keep up with posting each day's page the day after. Wish me luck! :D
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day! :D
