Some Catching Up is in Order with Crate Paper :)

Hi everyone! I've been absent here too much as of late, which I'm not happy about. With the power outages from last week, and even, frankly from the last storm, I just feel like I simply have had a hard time keeping my head above water, trying to catch up with . . . everything, it seems! After 14 days without power over the past two months, then dealing with just catching up with life (laundry, storm damage in our yard, getting the kids back into the swing of school, etc.) it's just been putting me into funk of trying to push an endless amount of "schtuff" into my daily routine. So, I hope you won't hold it against me as I try to catch up, albeit slowly.

I have something like 15 projects to get  done, like yesterday, all while trying to deal with what's been going on here at home in the aftermath of the storm - it's become somewhat stressful. I don't know about you, but when "too much" is going on, from clutter, to projects, to noise, to needing to be here and there and everywhere, I kind of shut down until I can breathe before tackling my next project. Right now, I'm slowly in that "breathe" mode. It can easily be said, I do.not.deal.well.with.chaos,friction,drama,conflict, etc. I can't even watch movies that have too much of that stuff going on, I have to "get out", and do something else until my head clears and normalcy (aka boring, noneventful life) sets back in. LOL

However, in the mass of all that's been going on, I have been able to get away and complete a couple projects. One is being featured over at the Crate Paper blog today. It's my first Crate DIY tutorial, and it turned out really fun - perfect catalyst for this thankful month of November. Here's a peak:

DIY_12_AHSecondly, I have a really fun announcement to make. I'm not sure if it will be later today or tomorrow. But it will be soon, and I think you'll get a kick out of it too! So be on the lookout for that as well. :D

For now, make sure you head on over to the Crate Paper blog to see what I created with all the beautiful products that Crate Paper always creates. Hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for stopping by today! ;D
