Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm over at the SRM Stickers blog with this fun set of tubes that I created for a festive Spring gift set. SRM's tubes and wands are fabulous additions to paper crafting for gifts and party favors, the possibilities are endless!
I decided to see what would happen if I took the standard tube and cut it into varying heights, then create a rainbow effect by separating the colors of jellybeans into rainbow hues. Then I matched each of the colors with a graphic sticker from SRM Stickers, coordinating buttons and baker's twine and voila a rainbow was born. I finished the tubes off by creating a wrap of grass along the bottom of each of the tubes to create a "baseline" that tied them all together. Then I added clouds and a sun to finish off the "skyline". How fun would this be to give as a gift in a clear acetate box filled with green paper grass? Totally cute! Totally Spring!
This weekend I'll be busy working on a top secret project to be revealed next week along with my post that I promised a couple weeks ago (sorry Tiff and Karen) about my photography process, etc. I haven't forgotten, I promise! Until then, have a wonderful weekend!! Thanks so much for stopping by! ;)
