I can hardly believe it's April already! Crazy! The very last of our snow finally melted over the weekend and all of our perennials are starting to peep up already. It's like they are saying - "FINALLLY - I was suffocating under all that snow!" Totally know the feeling little plants, totally!
Today I thought I'd share some of the places my work popped up at in print and online back in March. I was fortunate to be published in the March/April issue of Creating Keepsakes, and the March issue of Scrapbook Trends and Cards Magazines. However, when the call came out for this issue, it was the fall, and the things were about to become VERY busy with the kids' schools and the holidays around the corner, so I didn't do much submitting for several months after this month's issue. So I'm really happy to show you this today since it will be the last for a couple months! He he! ;)
I was SO happy with the layout above for a couple reasons. It was such a precious moment in my daughter's young life, and I was using my one of my all time favorite Basic Grey lines - Olivia. That was the cutest line ever - I only wish I had more to play with - it's so cute!! And it was perfect for my pretty little girl on her special day with Daddy.
"Springtime is in the Air" Card - CARDS- Page 24 - Northridge Media
Next up was my card, Springtime is in the Air". I really love this card. At the time, Sassafras had just come out with Indie Girl, again one of my all time favorites by them, and I couldn't resist but add the fun hot air balloon rub-on by Studio Calico to really create a fun Springtime feel to the card.
I had a lot of fun on Two Peas this month. Have you seen all their new changes!? Talk about WOW - how exciting that they are expanding!! Cardmakers and stampers are rejoicing, I'm sure! I know I am! :)
Well, I am so very close to getting my scrap room reorganized, I better get back to work! Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Spring Fever Event over at the Crate Paper blog, as well as a new challenge is posted over at the October Afternoon blog, and you won't want to miss what Kinsey's got going for that - so fun!! Have a terrific Monday!
