Yesterday I had the honor of having this layout featured on the Creating Keepsakes blog! Talk about exciting! It was published in the March/April Issue on pg 36. I hadn't seen it until yesterday when it popped up on my browser bright and early in the morning! Then as luck would have it on St. Patty's day, I got the hard copy in the afternoon! Ha!
Anyhoo, I've been dying to share this layout with you since I created it way back last fall. I really love how it turned out. And if you remember, the flowers are based on a tutorial I did for Crate Paper found here as well. The best part - all the flowers were made from scraps! Once I sorted everything, I was able to color corrdinate them into separate color ways for each flower, then once together created a rainbow effect. The only thing I did differently with these flowers from the tutorial was that I layered some with smaller versions, and also stitched the perimeters, finishing off the look. It's a really fun technique and one I'm going to do again soon I think because it's so fun!
Lastly, I just wanted to let you know, I've got BIG news coming up next week!! It's totally eeeek-worthy and I'm so excited to let you in on it - so make sure you come back to check it out!! Until then have a fabulous weekend!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! ;)
