Over at the Crate Paper blog Lucy's hosting a super cool Color Challenge! All the examples are gorgeous that the girls cooked up! You must check them out! Today, I'm showing you my take. It's actually version two. You know how that goes. The first one, just doesn't "work", take a few days away from it, come back and suddenly everything falls into place the way they're meant to. That's the way this layout came to be.
Just a few rules for the challenge:
- You may submit a layout, card or project to be eligible. Projects need to be submitted by midnight (EST) March 11th. Email them to me @ email@example.com
- You may use the colors in any proportion you wish, as long as you use all 3 colors in the palette. And you may add black, white or kraft paper to the colors.
- Projects must use at least 50% Crate Paper - you may mix any paper lines you like, old and new.
- The winner will be announced on March 14th and I'll share some of my favorite projects here on the blog. The winner will selected based on creativity and quality of work.
And your palette...... GORGEOUS!
These are some of the trendiest colors out there right now. Yellow and grey is everywhere and it is fantastic! I love it! That is the main reason I really wanted to take part in this challenge. I LOVE this color combination!
So if you are up to the challenge, make sure you head over to the Crate Paper blog and check out all the ideas over there, then start in on your own version! Who knows, it could be the winner that surely will get some yummy goodies! Crate is fabulously generous that way! ;) Have a wonderful day!!
