I've been very inspired lately. I think it's because I am feeling especially experimental with my "style" artistically. I grapple with being clean(ish)/graphic and wildly layered up. Sometimes that is tough for me to balance, so I've been toying. I've had much more time as of late to play with some fun new product I've been fortunate to get a hold of, and I haven't wanted any of it to end up in my stash. I want to use as much of it as possible, as soon as possible! - LOL.
I spent the last weekend scrapping away and I'm already behind in showing you the fruits of those labors. Today I thought I'd share some experimental "junque" from Pink Paislee's Daily Junque. I am SO in love with this collection. See that little rainbow bird? I wish I had a dozen of him alone! And who woulda thunk, navy with this colorful, fresh palette. Not me - but it's SPECTACULAR!!
When I found these older pictures of my daughter playing in the clean laundry, I knew Daily Junque would be perfect with them. I added a few bits of Elle's Studio, Sassafras and rub ons from Studio Calico along with some fabulous crocheted doilies from this Etsy Shoppe.
Lastly, I thought I would share something that I feel is absolutely jaw-dropping. I loved Adele on her first album, 19, but, she just came out with 21, and I cannot stop listening to it. Music is something that moves me very intensely and I can't help but feel sometimes that I wish I could do this: http://www.youtube.com/e/FiMK9e0h6YE
or take an iconic song and do THIS with it:
Absolutely freakin' brilliant!!! I'm totally and completely blown away by her raw talent. If you haven't seen these, you really must.
With that, I will say adieu for now. Hope you have a terrifically creative day!!!
