Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had a very nice weekend, in fact it's still the weekend for us as the kids are off from school today and so is the hubster for President's Day. We went out for dinner and saw Gnomeo and Juliet on Saturday night and spent the day crafting and organizing closets yesterday. Today I think my hubby's going to take the kids to the aquarium, and I'm going to get a little more crafting in - yay!
This weekend I finished 5 layouts and I have several more to get done, as I am feeling especially inspired right now. I think it's because I have pulled papers from all my favorite lines of late and have them all organized and ready to go, I just have to put them together.
Today I'm bringing you one of my FAVORITE new collections that I am having a ball playing with - the Neighborhood Colleciton by Crate Paper. Just so you know, all the new Crate collections should start shipping to your LSS's within the next week!! I love all the variety in this line - it so fresh, and absolutely so versatile! Here I've made a baby layout with my favorite picture of my daughter from when she was a baby. Since I have yet to create a baby book for her, I thought I would start here. I LOVE how it turned out.
I mixed in a few other pieces with this collection, including Sassafras, Basic Grey, Martha Stewart and the background paper is from DAily Junque by Pink Paislee/House of Three. But I would say 85% of this layout is from the Neighborhood collection. But it just goes to show, that it's easily mesh-able with pieces from your own stash-which I love!
I'm going to finish it up there today, kids! I'll have lots of fun stuff to share over the next several days! Like I mentioned - I've been crafting up a storm and am feeling really inspired right now! Let's hope this trend continues! I hope you have a wonderful day!
