SRM Stickers :: Valentine Banner

SRM_Valbanner_5_AhHappy Monday everyone! Today I'm bring you a sweet banner I made using SRM Stickers in preparation for Valentine's Day! We have this hanging on our mantel, and I really love how it turned out. ValentineBanner_SRM_AHThe premise for the banner was "How Do I Love Thee, Let Me Count the Ways" the famous first line from Elizabeth Barrett Browning's sonnet of the same name. With alternating hearts, I created a little pocket that holds a tag. Each tag is numbered with SRM 's Small Numbers and written on with sweet nothings to my kids. I was also thinking that this would be super cute with photos, as well. How fun would that be?. (This is the whole banner - very difficult to photograph since it's so long, but you get the idea :).On the hearts with the tags I also added stickers from the sheet "We've Got Your Sticker - Sweet". Perfect for this cute little banner with it "XO"'s and adorable hearts. SRM_Valbanner_Detail2The papers I used were from Basic Grey's Olivia collection (solid pinks) and patterned papers are from Elle's Studio, and heart doilies from Walton. I cute all my hearts with my nesties as well as my scallop circles.SRM_Valebanner_DETAIL_Ah I really love the added whimsy left from the machine stitching thread. I didn't even think twice about cutting them or hiding them, I love them dangling like little whisps. It's fun to walk by and see them flick in the passing air. :)

I hope this little banner is getting you in the spirit of Valentine's Day! Today, and everyday this week, SRM Stickers is debuting the rest of their NEW releases for CHA as well as Valentine themed projects from the Design Team! So make sure you go check them out! It's going to be a fun-filled week over there!! Hope you'll drop by! Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a wonderful day! ♥A
