On the 11th Day of Christmas Cards, Amy brought to me . .

. . . a fun little tag to get your wrapping started!

Well, things should be wrapping up on your end for making/sending out your holiday cards if you haven't already (like me!). I'll be sending mine out tomorrow. So I thought on the last couple days, I would make tags for inspiration so that you can add that custom look to your holiday gifts.

This tag was SO easy to make. I simply cut my "ornament" from my Cricut (cartridge: Mini Monograms) then cut my paper and fabric from the same Sizzix Die that I used for this card here, then used Thickers for my name. Easy peasy! I also hand drew the stitch marks on my ornament to add a bit of contrast to the white cardstock.

Pretty easy! Especially if you cut a bunch of the same tag at once,  the same goes for the flowers. Mass producing can be a cinch with a tag like this! Now for the sketch! I've made this into a traditional card sketch, but you can certainly create a tag or a card! Whichever you choose.

Remember, if you choose to play along, you have a few ways of showing me your fabulous creation!
1) link it to your blog and post that link here in the comment section
2) email it to me
3) upload it directly to our flickr gallery

I'm going to give you a bit of a heads-up today! The conclusion to the 12 Days of Christmas Cards series will happen on Tuesday! Yep! Sad, but true! BUT, I have another series starting tomorrow on my blog featuring Crate Paper and I cannot wait to share it with you. It will only be 3 segments long, but it's super fun, super easy and a super "mini" way of repurposing found objects into your paper crafting! I can't wait!! Hopefully you will join me here tomorrow, too! Until then, hopefully you are happily enjoying your holiday preparations, I hope you have a wonderful day !!  ;D
