Happy Tuesday everyone!! Did you get a chance to see all the wonderful inspiration over at the Elle's Studio Inspiration Galler
y yet?? If not, make sure you go check it out
once you leave here, there's some really amazing works this month! Today, I thought I would share my work from the gallery and give you a fun heads-up about an upcoming event at Elle's Studio
. First let's dig into the projects.
Elle released some absolutely fabulous new winter and Christmas themed products recently, and I used just about all of them on these 3 projects. On this layout alone, I used 9 tags/labels! Instead of going through them, individually, I'll give you the link to all of them
in one spot. Gotta love one-stop shopping!
In this first layout, I used Elle's Studio
along with Crate Paper'
s Snow Day and my background paper is from the Girl's Paperie - Tinsel and Twig line. I am loving this layout so much. I've wanted to scrap some older photos of my daughter for some time, but I didn't wanted to until I was able to adequately make the photos work the way I wanted them. That's where Photoshop Actions
come into play. They are my new best friend for making those old photos, in bad lighting situations, taken with a point and shoot camera, come alive. The action I used on this photo is called "sweet vintage" and it's from Florabella Actions
. I LOVE these sets of actions.
This month I also made a gift card/money holding card.
One tip that I love for making your own gift card holders, and I keep forgetting to use it regularly, is to just use a circle punch to create a half moon shape in your envelope for an opening/pull tab. This makes your card look like it's supposed to be pulled out. Thankfully, I remembered it this time on this card. Super easy tip, right?
Lastly is another layout of my daughter in her first snow when we were living in Washington. WE took her for walks in the backpack and she loved being outside in the white stuff. Still does in fact. We just get a whole lot more out here than they do in Washington, although right now they are getting a ton of snow. So we might want to find out from Elle herself how she's doing with all the snow!?
In this layout I used Crate Paper, 6 of the new Elle's Studio holiday tags
, Martha Stewart embellishments and my background paper is a bright red paper from an earlier MME line. I love how bright and fun, yet still snowy it looks.
So now it's time for the announcement! Did you see it over on the Elle's Studio blog yesterday? If not, here it is! Elle's Studio is teaming up with Bella Blvd the week of November 29th!
It's a whole week filled with inspiration from both Elle's Studio and Bella Blvd products! Let me tell you this is a great team up and the product looks great together! You won't want to miss it! So keep your eyes peeled for that one!
Fhew! That was a long post! Hopefully there's some inspiration in there for you! These are some of my favorite layouts, probably because they are from photos from so long ago, but also the fabulous products out now, make even those older memories shine like new again - which I LOVE!! That about does it for me today! I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!! Thank you so much for stopping by!
