I am a little behind in posting these primarily since they have all been waiting on my computer while I was away this summer. But better late than never I suppose. And since I am still working on several things, that I can't just show you yet, this is the perfect time to let you see what my first published cards were! This one above, was my first EVER picked up anything! It was in the June edition of CARDS this year. I was so excited to get in - and I was so surprised with this card, because of it's imperfections! But I like it that way, hand drawn lines and all. :) I used Hambly screen prints that I punched with Martha Stewart Butterfly punches, then layered those over cardstock in various colors that I hand cut so they were solid. Here's a close up:
This next card was one that I created and was picked up for July CARDS. I used a massive amount of microbeads to cover this Maya Rd chipboard piece and printed my own sentiment for the interior of the bird's feather. And low and behold, our old favorite, the MS felt clouds!! I still have a few of those left and I love them!!
I love how the light played off these beads.
Next up was a card I made and was picked up for Scrapbook Trends for July. This was the very first card I ever stitched on (and with the old cruddy maching), and I think you can tell! LOL! Other than the haphazard stitching I really like this card! This was when I was going through my Studio Calico Who Dunit Kit phase. :D

And this I loved making. I printed out my sentiment and then die cut it with my oval nestabilities and I really like how it turned out.
So that about covers it for June and July that I can show you now. But in a couple weeks I'll be able to show you my first layout published plus a few more cards.
Come back tomorrow and I will have something special to show you as well!
