More Crate Paper Goodness!

One of the things that LOVE about the new Crate Paper Collection, called Snow Day is it's versatility and quirk. If you follow my blog you know how much I love color in my work and a quirky kind of style. This awesome new line has both! You wouldn't think that a holiday line with magenta and turquoise could also be more traditional, too, but it can!! The reds, browns, greens and splash of orange can make this paper line go in a completely different direction that what you see at first sight, and I LOVE that!

I created this fun card that easily translated to Christmas, but the citrus accent of orange takes it to a fun new place that I would have never dreamed of previous to seeing this line of papers! I just LOVE it!! If you take a look at the Crate Paper blog today, you can see a perfect example of that versatility! Heidi Sonboul created a superb layout using Snow Day and the colors couldn't be more different from my example today! It's that versatile, yet sooo cohesive!! Ack! I just LOVE it!

Time is a ticking for the countdown to CHA!! I am leaving early Tuesday morning to meet up with so many friends and fellow scrapbookers to get my creative on, and I CANNOT wait!! My husband flew in *late* last night and I am SO tired still from all the driving to and from the airport as such an hour. BUT it was FANTASTIC to see him and I can't wait to spend the next several days with him and taking some time for ourselves before leaving for Chicago. I hope to get a couple posts up and ready for a few of the days that I am gone, and HOPING to get some photos uploaded and blogged straight from CHA! Is there anything special you'd like to see? Let me know and I will try to see what I can find for you!

Well, friends, that covers it for today! I am going to run a few errands and get some last minute items wrapped up before CHA the rest of this afternoon. I hope you are having a terrific day and thanks so much for the visit!
