Schlosser Designs :: Father's Day Digitals!

Happy Thursday everyone! I have a really fun set of projects for you today for Father's Day from Schlosser Designs! It's a set of 2 cards, a hinged gift-tin cover and labels that all coordinate to make a super cute set of fun Father's Day gifts! The files are all PDFs and you can either purchase pre-made sentiments, or you can purchase files that have customizable sentiments. So lets get started!
Here's a picture of the 3 main projects, I have added patterned paper, cardstock and embellishments, but the files are such, that you can just print and go, if you like! The possibilities are endless! I also used the customizable file and put my own fun spin on some of the sentiments. Here's a closer look.
Here's the tin cover label along with the tin which you can also purchase from Schlosser Designs, here. On this saw, I added a little additional dimension to the saw by adding a serrated piece of cardstock using my pinking shears.
For this card, I cut out all the individual pieces of "lumber" added brads for nails and cut the middle piece with the pinking shears again to appear "cut" from that super fierce round table saw! :) I hand cut the saw, distressed the edges with ink and added a brad in the center to give it a well used look.
For this card, I printed the card front out two times. Once on kraft cardstock and once on cream cardstock. Then I cut out the sentiment and the hammer and popped them up off the kraft piece with 3D craft tape to give it added dimension and "pop". I also took the entire card base and offset it from the patterned paper card base that I created along with the ribbon, cardstock and brads.
Lastly, in the set there is an entire sheet of coordinating labels - so super cute! Erin had this super idea to print these out on sticker labels then cover chocolates with the labels making a super cute gift for Father's Day (see below). She also mentioned an idea of taking those same labels and making cupcake toppers. That is what I decided to do, as well as make a cupcake wrapper. With some finesse and trial and error, I think it turned out really cute - I just printed the label page out on regular cardstock instead of label paper and played with the size until I got it just so, then trimmed and taped the back. You get all these super graphics for $3.00 pre-written, or $5.00 for a customizable file. Isn't that fantastic?!
What? You say your Dad / Husband is not the "tool kit" kinda guy?! WELL! Erin has another set just like this one that is more generic, called the Classy Dad kit! Just as great, but with different graphics and colors. Classy Dad also comes in the pre-written and customizable kits.
Well, that about does it for me today! I hope you have a super, wonderful day and I'll be bringing you some more fun stuff here soon! Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
