Happy Friday everyone! I just realized that there are only just a few short weeks until summer vacation! YIKES! That's really great and really scary at the same time! You mom's out there feel where I'm coming from! Well, it's just the right time to share something that I made my daughter's teacher for Teacher Appreciation Week last week, but could also work perfectly for an end of the year gift for a teacher as well. This fun, and useful project is an altered clipboard sealed with Mod Podge using all kinds of fabulous sentiments from SRM Stickers!! The stickers really took this project from cute to meaningful with all the sentiments it features. Then to make it extra special, all the kids signed their first names on the clipboard so that their teacher would always have something from that class that she could remember as well as use.
Last year I made a mini album for my daughter's teacher for the end of the year - it was really lovely and the kids made their own page for the teacher and I really loved how it turned out. This year I wanted to challenge myself to create something that was truly functional for this teacher - they work so hard for our kids that I really wanted her to have something she could have with her at school to know how much she was appreciated. Are there any special things that you've done for your kids' teachers? I'd love to hear - I have to get something together for the end of the year now, and I need ideas! He, he!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fabulous Friday!
