Isn't that the greatest feeling? I know when I think about my husband, that is what I feel - like I am at "home" with him. Comfortable, loved, safe, warm.
I made this little card using Kathy Martin's Digital Doodles set called Home Sweet Home and can you believe, I printed the image directly onto wood?! Yep! It was a sheet that I got with a Studio Calico kit a couple months back and I had NO idea what to do with it. I tried stamping on it with ink and that didn't turn out the way I wanted so when I guest designed for Digital Doodles last week and used these great house digi-stamps, I thought I would give printing on it a go, and you know what it worked beautifully!! I do have a tip though, if you have one of these sheets, print out your image on regular printer paper first, then trim out the wood and adhere it over the top of the image on the paper then run it through the printer again. I tried to run the whole sheet through and it just jammed the printer, cutting it to size makes it much easier to go through the printer.
Today it is looking like it's going to be a sunny day here in CT - and I am so happy about that!! Hopefully Spring is nice and sunny where you are too! Thanks so much for stopping by today and don't forget to swing by tomorrow - I have a really fun project that I am going to be sharing! Have a wonderful Thursday!
