Happy weekend everyone!! I am feeling much better today and ready to start in on my craftiness again! I think I just needed a few nights of catch-up sleep! I have LOTS to do, that's for sure, so I am glad I'm feeling better!
First off, I wanted to show you a little card I made using My Cute Stamps. I just love the little spring flowers in the Jellybeans set! Aren't they adorable?! I walked past my neighbor's yard the other day and noticed that some of their bulbs are starting to sprout up and I am SOO excited! Spring is on its way! So a spring flower card was in order for sure!
Seeing as how I've never touched a Copic marker in my life, I used paper piecing to create the color that I wanted to achieve with my stamps. Using a subtle patterned paper is a great way of stamping and paper piecing because it gives depth and texture without coloring.
Well, it's raining like crazy here - we are supposed to get up to 3" of rain over the next couple days, so there will be a lot of craftiness going on in my home. We're also making a couple bird feeders to put in one of our trees and the kids are anxious to get that going, so I'm going to go help with that project. Hopefully you have fun and/or relaxing plans for the weekend, and I'll be back with some more craftiness soon! Thank you so much for stopping by today!!!
