So has it become obvious? I'm slightly in love with Lily Bee Designs and I can't wait for the new lines to become available!! I discovered this fabulous line of papers and embellishments when I purchased a kit from Mosh Posh last year and now, I can't get enough. So much, that I've applied for their design team - so, who knows, but I do love their stuff!!
Isn't this flower fun? I made it totally by accident. I was trying to make on of those fab circle/scallop borders, (you know what I'm talking about?) and it just wasn't working for me, so I ended up layering a whole bunch of my scallop circles (cut in half) around and around and this is what I came up with - the center is a mini paper rosette. I am really happy with how it turned out. These papers are from the totally adorable, Three Little Birds line from Lily Bee Designs.
As you know, I really like using scraps and this little butterfly was sitting on my desk from another project, so instead of tossing it because it wasn't the butterfly itself, I used the negative space as my image. The moral: don't throw those punched out pieces out! You can always find a spot for them! LOL.
Lastly, I highlighted, what I thought was the center-piece of my layout with little pearls to make it stand out. And I really love the effect. My daughter loves it too - it really made her feel special to see that. :)
This layout is again, with Lily Bee Designs from the Vintage Poppy collection, and it is for my son. I really loved these images, especially the blurry one. I know, I know, it's not in focus. But I just loved how it still captured the moment with the sun shining through. To me it's perfect.
And yes, I put a touelle flower with sequins on a boy's layout and I LOVE it!!
With this layout I journaled on the computer with a typewriter font to give it a little of a rustic look. Topped that off with some chipboard layering and voila!
Well friends, I have a big weekend/week coming up! I am getting submissions completed and I have my debut with My Cute Stamps coming up later in the week too! Should be fun! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a terrific Saturday!!
