My Baby Boy . . .

I haven't mentioned it here yet, but last week we went to an ENT and found out that my little boy has to get ear tubes, immediately, essentially. The stunning news to me, is that he has moderate hearing loss- thankfully it will be recovered once the tubes are inserted. It's been a long year of chronic ear infections - over 10 - and finally, finally "everyone" (aka pediatricians, ENT) are all on board with me in getting this fixed. I brought it up months ago to my pediatricians with the answer of, "well if he gets 2 more . . ." what?! I knew he'd get 2 more, and he did. Luckily from what my friends say, this is a quick, easy procedure, and they bounce back from recovery within a couple hours.

So today is the big day, and I'm worried sick. I can't bear the thought of my little guy going through this, but it must be done and he's going to feel so much better! I love him so much. I always say, he's what brings my heart Joy and my daughter is what brings my heart Love. (Of course, they both bring both things to me, it's just each epitomizes those definitions in their own way). So this is a post for my little Joy.

This was a layout that was supposed to go to CHA with Schlosser Designs but USPS wasn't able to get the Express Overnight Package there until after Erin left for Anaheim - booo! I really love how the versamark on the kraft works. The Hexagon-a-Thon stamp is really showcased in the layout with a subtle and graphic way.

On top of everything else going on today, my FIL is coming into town from WA state to stay with us through Sunday. It wasn't planned like this, but we either had to schedule the surgery for today or wait until March. I opted for today. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
