Happy Valentines Day! and {My Scrap Room Re-Org - it's done!}

Hi! Happy Valentines Day!! Hope it's off to a LOVE-LY start!! This is just a sweet simple Valentine that could be used for really anything, including a casual Valentine. I love cards like this that are sweet, graphic with a little whimsical.

Oh, yes, the re-organization - it's finally done! Yippeee!!! I am now enveloped in scrappiness and it's wonderful! I have spent countless hours winding miscellaneous ribbons on vintage clothes pins, color coding scraps, repackaging stamps, dividing chipboard all so I can scrap with less mess, more fun, and more clarity of mind! Now, I wish that I had a beautiful scrap room complete with custom cupboards to hide everything, an island for standing and custom pendant lighting for my workspace like some I've seen lately (gorgeous!) but that just isn't the space we have right now. For now it's a room in our basement. And it works perfectly fine for me. :)

In this photo I cropped out the floor, because you can just see all the wires and gaping nothingness under the tables, but this you a good view of my general workspace that I spend most of my crafty time in.
When I am sitting at my work tables now, and I need most anything, like stamps, my cuttlebug or other go-to items, I just have to turn in my chair and voila - it's there! Before (here's a link of my old format in that rare moment that it was tidy - you'll see quickly how I rearranged everything) I had to walk around a maze of table to get to anything!
This is what I see when I am working - everything within reach!
These shelves are great, I got them at Pottery Barn right before they discontinued them. Boo hoo! I wanted more!

These are my odds and ends fibers and ribbons that I was talking about. Anything without a spool went on a vintage clothespin that I bought from this store on Ebay - they are great. Then I pinned each one. Now they are neat and pretty too! I need a couple more jars though. Things are getting pretty tight in a couple, like the blues and greens.

This is the view from my workspace/table to the left. I have my printer, my inks, and all my papers. Cardstock in the tower and all patterned paper in the bookshelf below. The only picture I am missing to show you is a little dresser I have in this weird little corner that I keep my Cricut on and store all my punches, cricut cartridges, anything hardy like that. Well. that's it. In the photos it looks like there's a lot going on, but it's so much more spacious and open now, and I love seeing everything in their places.

I hope you have a very Happy Valentine's Day!! This morning I'm making heart shaped pancakes with whipped cream and berries for the kids and getting chocolate covered strawberries at the local bakery to go along with them! It will be fun! The kids will be in heaven with all the yumminess! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope it's filled with lots of love!
