It's time for another layout! This time it's my take on Ella Publishing's 6 Weeks of Sketches Challenge - Week 2. I rotated the sketch one turn counter clockwise to fit my photos and stitched only two sides of my layout.
I am starting to love these single page sketches because I have a ton of older pics where there isn't a complete spreads worth of photos, but there is still a story. These are some of those type of photos. Our daughter was just 20 months old when we packed up our Volvo station wagon and a *small* trailer and headed out East on a 3 week long drive across the country from WA for my husband to attend graduate school. There were several fun stops along the way including Big Sky, Montana (one of my favorite places - photo in the bottom right corner), Nebraska (top right photo), and the Iowa Zoo (main photo). I look back now, and think, whoa - were we crazy? But that's how it happened. And now it's been 5 and a half years. This was too, before I started scrapbooking, so I don't have as many photos as I wished of all the places that we went, so these kinds of layouts are great for this time period in our life.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hop you have a terrific day!
