Adieu, 2009!

Happy New Year's Eve! I have so many sweet memories from 2009. So many new sources of creative inspiration, new friends and new entertainment. A little more on that in a minute.
Our calendars are all about to change to a fresh new year in just a few short hours. So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share a card I put together for the CARDS magazine blog challenge for this week - New Year's cards, tags, invitations. It's a card and a tag at the same time - ha! - a combo - I think that works!
Now, back to 2009. I thought I would share a few of my new favorite new discoveries that have made my life richer, happier and more delighted each day in 2009. I would love to hear some of your favorite things from this year, too!

General Observations
A minivan isn't as bad as I thought it would be a few years back - in fact  - I LOVE it!
My kids are growing much faster since we turned the 5 year old corner. It's scary!
The new iPod Nano is sooooo coool!
Twitter is growing on me.
Some things are just better where you grew up, period.
My purpose is unveiling itself in more than one way every day.
Some things are just better in places where you did NOT grow up.
New York is not as scary as I once thought.
I like seeing snow (ask me again in March and see if I say the same thing).
I love the Wii - and I detest video games!
I am so very blessed!
So raise your glass (or juice box in my case) with me and bid 2009 adieu! Happy New Year!! Have a wonderful, fun, safe night and I'll be back next year with a whole bunch of new schtuff! :)
