Hi friends! I hope you had a wonderful holiday! We sure did - lots of laughs with our new Wii and lots of memories with the kiddos. Now I have so many Thank You cards to make in the coming days!
I have to admit, since I've been taking a crafting break, it took me a little bit to get going. So I went over and searched many of the card sketch blogs and found a great open-ended challenge over at Card Positioning Systems (CPS). I've never taken part in this challenge blog before, so this was a great way for me to get my feet wet - you can pick ANY of this last year's sketches - how fun is that?!
This is the sketch that I chose, #115:
I took a couple of unintentional liberties with the design, but I think it works. The idea was to make an encloseable envelope type card, that I could put my kids' pictures in for my Grandma's Thank You card. This is how it opens:
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! Take good care and I'll be back later this week with a couple more fun things to show you!
