Practical Scrappers - Holiday Card

This week at Practical Scrappers the challenge is Anything You've Made for Christmas. It can be a layout, a card, an altered item- you can upload anything! And you have a chance to win a fab prize mini album kit - I am so jealous of this one!

The kit includes:

Maya Road Chipboard Album with Envelopes
Cosmo Cricket "Be Good" Paper Set (6 Double-Sided Cardstock Weight Designer Papers)
4 Sheets of Coordinating Bazzill Cardstock
Coordinating Ribbons & Embellishments

This fab prize is being brought to us by Jessica from AC Bailey Designs! How simple of a challenge is that and such a terrifi prize! You have to enter!

This week, I made a card AND a wreath which will post a few minutes after this one. For this card, I wanted a really winter feel, especially since we had our first "real" snow of the year here in CT over the weekend. I used the Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder with some white core cardstock and simply sanded the top of the dots lightly to get that snowy affect. Then, I made a traditional folded snowflake out of vellum, then ran it though my create-a-sticker and adhered that to another piece of vellum then trimmed the perimeter. Super easy! I really like how it turned out, too.
