I just love that I am scrapbooking again. It wasn't like it was a long break I took, but now it feels like I'm breathing again! My family is the center of my life and I just love when I can create fun layouts around them! This one is a take on the Sketchy Thursdays Challenge. WOW there are some great entries! I really like how mine came out, however I was a little stymied by the fact that there wasn't a place in the sketch that specifically said it was for journaling or for a title. So I did a mini title, and to be honest, I just haven't decided where to put my journaling (bad habit of mine!), so I'll add that later. :) I love the color palette of red, cream, black and icy blue. It's so winter-ific and graphic, I love it!
I do think I need to get some kind of contraption to hold my layouts upright, though. Any ideas? I set up everything on a window seat in our living room, so it's kind of hard to prop them up so they are perfectly straight. Hmmm, I'll have to give that some thought!
And the more that I look at this the more I want to have a "title". It just looks unfinished to me - it needs something to "ground" it. So in a future post, I'll give you a sneak peak in how I finished this "unfinished" layout. Hopefully in the next couple days!
