Today was the beginning of a marathon of Halloween celebrations for my kids. My son had his preschool party today- tomorrow I'm prepping for my daughter's party with my co-room parent - Friday is her party in school and in Brownies - Saturday we're carving our pumpkins, completing our Halloween gingerbread house and trick or treating, and somewhere in there, I have to make a peacock costume! I even had to eliminate 2 Halloween parties from our schedule because things are so crazy, one tomorrow morning and one tomorrow afternoon. It makes me tired just THINKING about it!
So, I am trying to getaway from all the chaos by doing what else - you got it - crafting! I am all stitched up over the new challenge over at the CARDS blog - stitching! When I first started brainstorming this challenge, one of the first sketches I drew was of argyle - I love argyle! Today when I finally had a chance to sit down and create this card, I thought hmmm, wouldn't some Cosmo Cricket be just the thing for some wacky argyle? So that's what happened. I stitched with emboidery floss around the diamonds, then again in a creamy floss for the "x"s. Can't you just see a high school girl giving this to her best (guy) friend? I can! Hope you are having a great evening!
