Simply Scraps - Day 2 - Practical Scrappers

Well, friends, it's Monday.  m. o . n. d . a . y . . . . . . .

I'm a SAHM, and I don't know about you, but there are both blessings and curses to Mondays for me. Blessings that we are back into a routine, kids go to school, various activities, the usual chaos. Curses, that my husband leaves for work at 5am and I am likely awake by about 6am, if not sooner, by the (cutest and) most rambunctious 3 y/o boy I've ever met. And he is hungry . . . NOW! I need my coffee, for sure! When DH gets home around 8pm, I'm wiped!! By about Wednesday I am definitely feeling like this card's sentiment! Unfortunately it doesn't happen that often with the hubster's NYC schedule. But as I mentioned in an earlier post, my Mom is coming into town tomorrow night and I am planning on getting out with the girls at least once! It's too bad that New Moon opens after my Mom leaves - that would have been top of my list! He, he! I need my Edward fix, asap!

Okay, Amy, that's enough rambling. (I talk to myself a lot!) This is another card, made entirely of scraps n' stuff that were piling on my crop desk this past weekend. Outside of the verbiage, everything was already cut or were rejects from previous projects. Even the bustier of the dress was a heart I had put together using Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love cloud paper for a previous project, and it looked too much like a bikini top so I scrapped that. But it works perfectly for this poor little housewife and her apron!

Oh, and because of the great Laurel's prompting, I have entered this lil' card into the Practical Scrappers challenge for the week - to use office supplies - I guess my little paper clip counts! Practical it is, using scraps, that is for sure! :) Thanks for stopping by today! Another scrappy card coming up tomorrow! :)
