Yesterday I spent much of the day cleaning my crop space. Whoa - what a mess! Thank goodness that project (almost) over! He he!
In the end all I was left with was a pile of tiny scraps that I wasn't going to store in my paper, so I decided to give myself a little challenge. Use what I had in that pile and create something special. The result: 4 cards! They came together so quickly and easily!! I did very little cutting - all the border punches were left overs, the paper piecing were from previous projects that I nixed, the rub-ons were scrap left-overs from other projects or not cleanly executed, so I decided not to used them. The only new paper was the base cardstock. Isn't it fun to see what you can do with something when you put your resourcefulness to the test? Have you ever done this? I would love to hear about it and even see what you've come up with!
Because I came up with 4, I will put a new one up each day and if I find any more scraps, I'll try to see what I can come up with to make this a full week of Simply Scrap Cards!. This was such a liberating experience, I absolutely loved what happened with these tiny pieces! Here's to creating something out of nothing! :) Happy Sunday!
