Here at our house, the morning is bustling with kids decorating the house for Halloween. The kids excitement is so cute! "Mom, I found GLOW-in-the-DARK nail polish!", "Mom, I found a kite!"-really it's a wind sock- "Can I put the skeleton on my room door?", "Let's go rake leaves into the pumpkin bags!". . . . I am still recovering from being sick, so it's a little daunting to get it all done "now". Luckily the hubster is taking over so I can get a little done before he leaves for a biz trip tomorrow.
This is a little card I was thinking about, and started last night. I was thinking about those fab tissue paper centerpieces that fold out from flat into a detailed 3 dimensional delight. It took a lot of experimentation, but I finally figured out how to get it done - especially that center piece, it was a doozy.
Each of the layers has 2 different patterned papers on the front/back, similar in value, because I wanted to maintain the level of gradation on the back as well as front. But when you look from different angles, you can see that there are other patterns. the photos get some of that, but not all. Hope you are having a great Saturday, and I'll be back with a few other ideas that are brewing for me here this weekend! Take care!
